Role Summary

  • Reporting to the Head of Customer Service, the Site Supervisor Projects oversees the daily operations at project sites to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing site staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • The Site Supervisor Projects acts as the main point of contact between the site workforce and project management, ensuring that the project objectives are met.

Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Supervise daily site activities and operations to ensure the project is progressing as planned.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of on-site staff and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety standards and quality control are maintained.
  • Liaise with the Project Coordinators, Technical Teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the site, ensuring that they are available when needed to avoid delays.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, escalating to the Project Team Leader as necessary.
  • Enforce adherence to all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for all site personnel.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety on-site.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with local and company regulations.
  • Ensure that all work meets the required standards of quality as per the project specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of work and materials used.
  • Document and report any deviations from the project plan or quality standards to the Project Coordinator.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including progress reports, work logs, and incident reports.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on site progress, challenges, and any deviations from the project plan.
  • Assist the Project Coordinator in preparing and reviewing project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and work plans.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as required by the project schedule
  • Travel may be required depending on the location of the project site

Must have a technical type of background (supervising Workshop staff or site staff).

Diploma or Degree in Construction Management / Engineering. Min 3-5 years experience  in construction / site related role. 

 

Computer Skills

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • products such as Outlook, Word, Excel & MS Projects.
