PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To increase and maintain sales and existing market shares, through existing customer service, recruiting of new customers and to provide information concerning sales and marketing, product quality, competitor activities and service levels to ensure sustainable market growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
Achieve annual/monthly sales and GP targets as pre-determined by budget and forecast to ensure sustainable market growth.
Meet individual customer budgets.
Develop new business footprint.
Grow new business opportunities project pipeline sufficiently for forward growth targets.
Grow defense and attack project pipeline to ensure product retention and growth.
Maintain margin targets to ensure topline growth.
Identify and assess category potential flavours in South Africa & Southern Africa.
Identify local partner / distributor and assist with the development of a business plan.
Manage agreements / distributors / customers in various territories.
Implement business strategy to ensure budget figures are met.
Follow up on supply, stock management & forecast, pricing.
Timely application completion, submission and execution of CRM, CRS, and Briefs
Complete visit reports
Ensures that the sales assistant has captured the briefs.
Ensures that the sales assistant follows up with the lab for submission.
Ensures that the briefs are updated regularly.
